Jr./Sr. High School Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences Information

On Thursday, February 11, 2021 the Nodaway-Holt School District will be conducting Parent Teacher Conferences virtually from 2:00-8:00 pm. Each teacher at the Jr./Sr. High School will have a Zoom link set up in which parents can communicate and virtually attend conferences.

Each student will have their school issued chromebook with them already due to the AMI virtual learning day that precedes conferences. These chromebooks can be used by parents/guardians to attend the Virtual Parent Teacher Conferences.

How it works:

  • Once you click on the Zoom link you will be taken to a “waiting room” and must be admitted into the virtual conference by the teacher.
  • After the teacher is done with the current conference they are conducting, they will wait until that parent/guardian has left the meeting and then will admit the next parent/guardian from the waiting room into the meeting for their conference.
  • By doing this, we can assure that only one family is present in the Zoom meeting at a time and can maintain confidentiality.
  • Teachers will each get a 30 minute Dinner Break. During this time they will not be conducting conferences, but parents/guardians will still be able to enter into a waiting room, if you would like, for when they are done with their break.

If you are unable to attend conferences, please email your student’s teachers to arrange a phone conference if necessary.
