School Update

March 16, 2020

The Covid 19 virus has affected each and every one of us in some form or another. It has changed our daily routines and the days ahead will be different for us all. The staff at Nodaway-Holt is committed to providing ongoing instruction and learning. Teachers will be working diligently to provide students with virtual and traditional instruction and exploring other opportunities for extended learning.  Educational services will be provided to all students, including students who don’t have access to technology at home and students receiving special education services.

We also understand the burden school closure places on families to provide nutritious meals. For that reason, the Nodaway-Holt School District will provide a “grab and go” sacked lunch for all students 18 and under at the High School in Graham, Elementary in Maitland and also offered at Newton Hall in Skidmore.  The grab and go will be available Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to Noon and there is no cost to students.

As we continue down this uncharted path, we will continue to monitor and assess the situation. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the High School at (660) 939-2137 or Elementary at (660) 935-2514.
