District Event Updates

During this time of uncertainty and ever-changing developments, it is up to district administration to make the difficult decisions that will impact student lives. Administration does not want students to lose out on opportunities, however it is our responsibility to ensure that our students, employees, and school stakeholders are, and will continue to remain, safe. For that reason, decisions have been made regarding the following district activities.
- 8th Grade Promotion – Canceled
- Academic Banquet – District will recognize scholarships only. This will be done virtually and with school personnel
- ACT – Rescheduling for a later undetermined date
- Activities (i.e. JH Track, HS Track, Scholar Bowl, etc.) – Following MSHSAA directives
- Athletic Banquet – Canceled
- Auction – Still on as scheduled
- Conference Spelling Bee – Not attending
- DARE Graduation – Rescheduling for a later undetermined date
- District Field Trips – Canceled & money will be returned to families
- District Spring Music Concerts - Canceled
- FBLA, FCCLA, & FFA Banquets – Canceled
- Graduation – Still on as scheduled, but we may utilize alternative methods
- Kindergarten Round Up – Rescheduling for a later undetermined date
- PAT Parent Event – Canceled
- Prom – Canceled; After Prom – Up to the After Prom Committee as it is not a school sanctioned event
- Senior Trip – Great Wolf Lodge has canceled all reservations from April 2-May 19. We will wait and see when Kansas City gets off of their lockdown period and play it by ear
- Sports Physicals – Rescheduling for a later undetermined date
