On March 25, 2021 from 1:00-3:00 pm the Nodaway-Holt School District will have a trailer from the NW MO Reg. Solid Waste Mgmt. District in the north parking lot where community members can bring paper, clean cardboard, #1 and #2 plastics, tin, and aluminum to be recycled!
To encourage recycling, grades 7-12 will be competing to see which class can bring in the most recyclables. The winning class will be rewarded with a pizza and ice cream sundae party! On the 25th classes will take their recyclables to the north parking lot for the winner of the competition to be determined.
Additionally, educational videos about the positive impacts recycling has on the environment will be presented to each class starting the week of March 22.
Class recycling locations are:
7th Grade - north new hallway
8th Grade - south new hallway
9th Grade - pop machine by the gym
10th Grade - north science hallway
11th Grade - upstairs by the Art Room
12th Grade - south wall of the Lunch Room
