INVITATION TO BID
REGARDING FARM LEASE
Notice is hereby given that Nodaway-Holt R-VII School District is holding the following real estate in Holt County and Nodaway County, Missouri, for lease:
The Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, except approximately 10.1 acres therein; the Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter; also, all of that part of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter and all of that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter lying East of the CB&Q Railroad; all in Section Four (4), Township Sixty-two (62), Range Thirty-seven (37), Holt County, Missouri; and
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section Four (4), Township Sixty-two (62), Range Thirty-seven (37), except a strip 140 feet wide off the East side thereof, in Nodaway County, Missouri.
Formerly known as The Glenn Huiatt Farm, located just northeast of Maitland.
The School District will accept bids to cash rent the above real estate for a three-year term, which term will begin on January 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2027. All bids should be based on 65 tillable acres. Grass strips around the fields are to be left, and mowed annually. To be considered as a bona fide bidder, an information packet must be obtained from the School District Superintendent’s Office, or other arrangements must be made with the said Superintendent.
The School District will receive written bids until 2:00 pm on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the Nodaway-Holt R-VII School District Superintendent’s Office, located in the Junior/Senior High School Building, 318 South Taylor Street, Graham, Missouri 64455. Bids received after that time will not be accepted. All interested parties are invited to bid and to attend the bid opening, but attendance by bidders at that meeting is not required. All timely received written bids will be opened and read aloud at that time and the winning bid will be accepted at the Board of Education meeting on February 19.
