On Friday, January 12, 2024 the Nodaway-Holt School District has elected to utilize one of its allotted Alternative of Instruction, or AMI, days. Instruction will not be given face-to-face, but rather through packets that were distributed on Thursday, January 11 or through virtual instruction and/or platforms. For the JH/HS, attendance will be determined on a class-by-class basis through one of two ways: 1) if the teacher is "zooming" and they log in to get their instruction, or 2) if the teacher does not have a Zoom conference call that hour and has distributed a worksheet or packet, by the completion of that work assigned. Elementary student's attendance will be based on the completion of packets handed out on Thursday.
Even though we are learning virtually, all work assigned will be graded and students will only receive points for which they have earned.
Teachers will be holding virtual office hours. Links and times for elementary office hours will be posted later today. JH/HS virtual office hours will take place during the daily scheduled Seminar time. Links for JH/HS virtual office hours can be found on each teacher's individual Google Classroom.
For further questions regarding assignments, Zoom links, etc. students should check Google Classroom or email their teachers directly.
